Outfits matter more than you think, but they don’t have to be complicated. Choose pieces that feel like you, while coordinating rather than matching exactly. Soft, neutral tones or colors that complement your location (like beachy whites, creams, soft blues, or earthy tones) always photograph beautifully. Flowy fabrics, movement, and textures add that dreamy, effortless feel.

Timing and lighting play a huge role too. Most sessions are scheduled around golden hour (right before sunset) when the light is soft, warm, and flattering—this is what gives that glowy, romantic look you see in photos.

Don’t worry about what to do with your hands or where to stand—that’s my job to guide you. I’ll gently direct you in a way that feels natural and easy, so nothing ever feels awkward or overly posed. Think of it more like spending intentional time together while I capture it.

For local sessions and events, travel is often already built into your package. If your vision takes us a bit farther—whether that’s a dreamy beach escape, a hidden coastal spot, or a destination elopement or proposal—I’ll create a custom package that clearly outlines any travel costs upfront so there are no surprises.

I keep everything as simple and transparent as possible. This can include things like mileage, lodging (if needed), and flights for destination experiences. The goal is to make it easy for you while still bringing your vision to life in the most beautiful location possible.
